Time for full transparency: this episode was supposed to be a very different episode. If you’ve been around for a while you know there’s just no faking it when I get behind the microphone. Now for some RADICAL transparency: my impulse (note, impulse) was to ask myself if talking about #RadSelBel and Grown-Up Gap Year even mattered when it felt like so many really hard things were happening around the world…until I saw a tweet that reminded me of why I do what I do.
Today I’m offering the warm reminder that it’s okay to feel both rage and hope. That #RadSelBel helps us slow down and bring even more of ourselves to a world that desperately needs it. Being in touch with our creativity helps us solve problems, no matter what lane we’re in, and making space for that is more important than ever. Take a deep breath and listen in for the permission you’ve been waiting for.
