As you pull back (just temporarily, trust me!), you’re going to feel like everything’s at a standstill, but it’s not!! Getting quiet is the only way you’re going to find the connection to yourself (and the rest of the world!) that will eventually allow you to amplify your voice, find your momentum, and make that impact you’re seeking.
Resentment, bitterness, disconnection, and burnout. Because so many of the things you occupy your time with look impressive from the outside, it’s easy to live within the convenience of your comfort zone, where you do things mostly for the sake of achievement.
Success comes easily and often to you, and your most common response is to pass it over in favor of what’s next. Consider how you want to celebrate each success that comes your way before it arrives so that you’ll be able to acknowledge your hard work and what you’ve done before diving into another project.
And remember: there will be plenty of opportunities to do more in the future. You don’t have to do it all right now.
Fear often comes a’tapping when you get into the boring parts of bringing an idea to life. You still have to do the work. Learn to celebrate the tiny victories of daily progress rather than only looking for the results to fulfill you.
It’s also imperative that you take good care of yourself during the process. Rest, nourish your body, and find moments of quiet to help you focus. You cannot draw water from an empty well — keep yours full.
