You wouldn’t start your first day of running at the New York City Marathon, would you? You’d likely take a run around the block, build up your strength and endurance, maybe join a running club for moral support, and after a few months, perhaps you’d register for a 5k. No brainer! So why do we expect our grace and faith muscles to be toned, tanned, and ready to go when we attempt to use them solely in life’s most challenging sprints?
Today I’m sharing some personal stories about seemingly simple challenges that packed a big metaphorical punch for me. I’m drilling down into the low-stakes situations in which I flex my grace and faith, making it easier to call on them in the future.
