This week on Raise Your Hand Say Yes, I got to sit down and talk with Melissa Bahen of Lulu the Baker and Joy Uyeno of Frock Files about The Hello Sessions, the new conference they’ve crafted that’s taking place on Friday, October 9 in Portland, OR. (Their keynote speaker is RAD. *wink*)
I’m so inspired by what Melissa and Joy have created, because instead of just sitting around and wishing something existed in the world, they got to work and made it happen. In this episode, we talk about what led them to create this conference, some of the joys and challenges of making something brand new from scratch, and what they’ve learned working together on this project.
PS. If you’d like to join us at the Hello Sessions in October (I’m the keynote speaker!), use the code SAYYES10 by 8/5 to receive 10% off registration. And then let me know you’re coming so I can get a hug ready for you!
Melissa & Joy, thank you so much for sharing your story on the podcast! I can’t wait to hug you both so soon!!
