This is the part where you expect me to tell you that I know your 6-figure business is only a few weeks away. (I don’t know that.) I’ve spent over 3 years interviewing successful creative entrepreneurs for Raise Your Hand Say Yes and have discovered the unique properties that they have in common. In addition, I’ve been coaching creative women for 6 years to help them take their businesses and lives to the next level. Not only do I have the professional experience to back up this offer, I’ve been living it for 37 years.

I’ve always known I have more to say. I’ve always felt I was meant to make a true difference in this world. And I’ve always wanted to be successful at doing it. And I’ve tried doing it so many ways. Also, I am you. In addition to my legit factor, my own creative work shifted after I had my twin daughters in 2014. I started taking bolder risks, prioritizing the things I really wanted, and going all in on creating my own vision of success. And it all worked – to an extent.

From the outside, everything looked amazing. I was making the money and getting the recognition that I desired. But I was tired, lonely, and unfulfilled.

And while I experienced moments of flow when I’d lose myself in a coaching call or writing project, I mostly felt like I spent my time responding to things, powering through, and forcing creativity because I just have to get the work done.

And when people would say, “How’s business? It looks like you’ve been killin’ it,” I’d respond by telling them how tired I was.And one day, I realized that things had to change or else I’d run this business (and myself!) into the ground.

I decided there had to be a better way, and I started to open myself up to letting my intuition be my business driver. I sought flow. I got quiet. I started making changes to how I showed up every day to my work. (These involved: more writing, more meditation, and more tacos. Srsly. I can teach you my ways!)

Now, everything has changed for me: I wake up excited to start my work day. I am energized by the work I do and the people I do it with. I feel more connected than ever and I still have energy left over to cook dinner for my family.

On paper, things look nearly identical. But I feel like a brand-new woman. And my work is better than ever.

And I’m ready to pass all of this learning to you. I’m ready to create my own RYHSY Army.
