While I can’t promise specific outcomes for every single person (because I know that your journey is—beautifully!—going to look different from everyone else’s!), I can tell you that by the end of Grown-Up Gap Year:
you will be a conduit for serendipity in your life, open and available to new and enticing opportunities, and you’ll have the time and space to say yes to them!
you will have a life that is oriented toward things, experiences, people, and habits that light you up so that your days feel delightfully expansive and playful!
you will know how to relax and refill your well…in ways that don’t involve more screen time!
you will both know and trust yourself deeply so that you can move through your days without the tailspin of overthinking and the shapeshifting of being beholden to everyone else’s needs!
And, to be clear, Grown-Up Gap Year is not:
asking you to move to Morocco for the year to find personal fulfillment
insisting that you quit your job or stop taking care of your kids
an imperative to flake out on things that matter most to you.
This isn’t about living without responsibility for a year; instead, it’s an invitation to learn a different way to show up to your life. One that allows you to surround yourself with so many things that light you up.
The work.
The relationships.
The habits.
The projects.
The way you do everything.
The big promise is that Grown-Up Gap Year is your chance to pause the striving, take a break from raising your hand and saying yes to what everyone else wants you to be, and create the space to dig deeper, experiment, and invest in what a “life well-lived” really means to you.
You know what radical self-belief is—a deep, all-encompassing faith, independent of outcomes, in your ideas, your intuition, and your ability to figure things out as you go.
I’ll teach you to embody it.
You know you’re wildly creative.
I’ll teach you how to use your creativity as a conduit…and just wait until you see the potential that opens up for your life, your work, and the world.
And you already know you can do anything you put your mind to.
I’ll teach you how to dive deep into the mystery of what’s on the inside and learn how to delight in there being more questions than answers.
