If you’ve been around these parts for a while, you might have heard me say: “I’m Tiffany Han, and I want to help you live in full, radiant Technicolor!”
Yesssssss.
And also … what exactly does that mean?
… let’s talk about it.
++ It means we aren’t driven by either/or thinking. That we get to live within the full spectrum of life.
++ It also means we’re in the driver’s seat of our days (and thus weeks, months, and years) and that we aren’t merely existing to perform our way through life.
…because you and I both know that the to-do list never ends and that someone is always going to be needing something…
…which means: let’s stop putting off feeling good, yes?…
++ Living in Technicolor also means that we overdeliver to ourselves first.
We make big promises to ourselves that we can’t wait to keep. And then we (actually) keep them.
…because while we may not know the specifics of what we want, we’ve definitely learned that burning ourselves out to keep the sky from falling isn’t really working anymore…
…which is when I add: just imagine how well you’d be able to show up for the things that matter most to you if you felt fully—and delightfully!—resourced…
++ Saying yes living in radiant Technicolor means that you know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em (and that you definitely walk away before you have to run!).
…because while we can spend a lot of our time searching for the Right answer, learning to flex (and trust!) your discernment muscle is actually more valuable…
…cue: quick reminder that there is no Right answer for nearly everything. Instead, I’m way more interested in you finding what feels most right for you at any given moment…
++ Living in full Technicolor means that we’re all in for the full spectrum of what life has to offer: the good, the bad, the hard, and the beautiful things that come with being a human on this planet.
++ It also means that we show up boldly and say what we really want to say, out loud and unapologetically. With a different level of self-trust than we might be used to.
…as for those specifics of what your Technicolor life looks like? Well, that’s up to you…but what I can tell you is that my own Technicolor life has shown up in both macro decisions (we’re moving to Colorado! I’m quitting drinking!) and micro decisions (I’m making macarons today! It’s time for a dance party!).
All of those examples are bold in their own way. Some were easier to execute than others, but each of them has helped me get to a place where I can look around and feel present, settled, and delighted in my life.
Do I feel that way every single day? Nope.
But I trust that I have the tools to greet inevitable wobbles that show up.
And part of why I’m here today is to show you, remind you that all of this is available to you too. It may not happen overnight (because we both know that if a meditation practice and new journal were the answers, you’d be there by now), but it is possible.
Beautifully possible.
Expansively possible.
Dare I say…radiantly possible.
And I’m rooting for you SO HARD.
