I’m excited to bring you Episode 4 of my new podcast Raise your hand. Say yes.
This week, I had the good fortune to interview my friend Jess Swift. We talked all about her creative business and covered so much, including staying motivated, productivity, owning your title, and all the learning. We also laughed a lot, which led me to realize that I pretty much have the best job in the world. Thanks for the awesome, Jess!

Oh my gosh!! This is so timely for me-only maybe in reverse. I couldn’t agree more with the idea that you don’t need to go to art school to become a “real” artist (which is a state of mind that no degree can give you). I endured art school and have my masters in painting and have spent the last few years unlearning the bad academic habits I was taught. I am even doubting the path I chose was the one I should be journeying on- just because I can do it doesn’t mean that this is what I was meant to do. Anyway- I am loving and learning so much from the podcasts!!!
Thank you Susan! That is so good to hear! I think I’m going to do a whole episode just on art school. It seems to trip people up in so many ways!
I love the idea!
